Imvelo Innovation Tanzania (IMINT) is non-profit organization composed of a diverse mix of expertise that contribute innovative solutions to building a green and blue competitive economy for Tanzania and the whole of East African region and beyond. The organisation facilitates development and growth of quality enterprises. The organisation supports individuals, research and development (R&D) institutions, public, private and civil society agencies and all other key stakeholders.

To mobilise resources and facilitate support to green and blue enterprises to accelerate sustainable economic growth by developing strong linkages to research and development through innovation platforms and initiatives.

Theory of Change

To attain broad goals that are innovation driven for environmental sustainability, improved livelihoods and economic competitiveness, Imvelo Innovation Tanzania models its theory of change on a simple but intricate system of partnerships.

The primary partner for Imvelo Innovation Tanzania are the green and blue enterprises that are considered vehicles of change fueled and serviced by research and development and support services. In the course of operations, the vehicles of change and their inputs produce value added knowledge and opportunities for innovation that vitalize the enterprises and inform a multi stakeholder group particularly policy makers who are instrumental for the desired goals of Imvelo Innovation Tanzania to be achieved.

As such Imvelo Innovation Tanzania serves as think tank supported by environmental and innovation investors to host innovation platforms that provide stakeholders with a joint vision to enhance environmentally sustainable projects for development and quality livelihood.
